Alastair Moock and Friends
A 2014 Grammy Nominee, Parents’ Choice Gold Medal Winner, and three-time National Parenting Publications Awards (NAPPA) Gold Medal Winner, Alastair Moock makes music for the whole family: kids, parents, and discerning pets. Long one of Boston’s premier folk artists, Alastair turned his attention to family music after the birth of his twin daughters in 2006.
Karen K and the Jitterbugs
One of the most buzzed about bands for families and kids on the East Coast, Karen K & the Jitterbugs have received multiple national awards, including a Parents Choice Award and Best KidVid of 2014 for their smash hit video (I Woke Up in a) Fire Truck. Called "pure pop confection" by Zooglobble, the Boston Globe says the Jitterbugs "have a spiky, power-pop sheen that makes them fun for the whole family."

A Latin GRAMMY nominated musician, Mister G is a leading figure in the children’s music world. A former indie rocker who was awarded the first songwriting scholarship in the history of Berklee College of Music, Mister G (aka Ben Gundersheimer) toured internationally prior to earning a Master of Education and becoming a full-time family musician and teaching artist.

Good News Gus is back! Our furry yellow friend will celebrate your good news and help you share it with the world! Gus and his human Harry will be spreading sunshine on the Lawn all day with short, interactive shows for tots and their grown ups. Be sure to write your good news on one of Gus’s sunshine post-its and hang it on his picket fence! Now that’s good news!
Alert! Alert! Bear spotted playing music on the Lawn on D! Don‘t worry, that’s just Boston‘s favorite busking bear! He’s just here to greet event goers and make music with his keytar! If he‘s hungry, feed him. But what he’s really hunting for is dancing and a healthy does of joy-spreading. (11am-1pm)
